You can explore the whole area online Scout Cragg Caravan Park is midway between Silverdale and Carnforth (about 2 miles to either) and close to Warton Village (less than a mile).
We are ideally located since the historic city of Lancaster is 11 miles to the south and Kendal, a lovely market town, is 20 miles to the north.
The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are both well under an hour's travel away - so you can take full length day trips out to either.
Directions
From the M6, take Jct 35 and go west following signs for Carnforth and the A6.
At the first roundabout go left (South) onto the A6 following signs for Carnforth.
Stay on the A6 until you reach the traffic lights in the centre of Carnforth, then turn right.
Follow this road over a bridge and then immediately after the sign that says Warton Village, turn left following signs for Silverdale.
After a few hundred yards this road turns sharply right and Scout Cragg entrance on your right, about a third of a mile after the corner. As you can see from the photo left, the sign for the park is highly visible so you can’t miss us... and yes, there are two gg’s!
